National-Louis University (NLU)

Established in 1886 as the National College of Ed., National grew to full university status in 1990. National is the oldest and most respected private teacher education college in the nation.

National is accredited by the IL State Board of Ed., the North Central Association of Colleges (NCA), and the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).

Located in Wheeling IL, National-Louis University is a private independent institution, offering programs leading to the bachelor's, master's and doctor's degrees.

NLU has additional local campuses in Skokie, Lisle, Elgin and Chicago.

National and Wayne Spitzer & Associates joined hands in 1987 to present four graduate workshops that foster collaboration and school effectiveness. These courses are offered through the Center for Professional Development, with the full endorsement of the Graduate Division and National College of Education.

Official NLU grades and transcripts are issued upon request to all participants who successfully complete the workshops.
